Monica brings to NPAG 20 plus years of experience leading teams in sales, marketing, talent, and diversity and inclusion capacities for companies and organizations like BET- Black Entertainment Television, ESPN, the Walt Disney Company, UMass Memorial Health Care, Just in Time for Foster Youth, and On-Ramps. At the start of her private sector career, Monica was responsible for increasing the distribution and creating marketing strategies for cable television networks as well as other emerging platforms. In her Talent and Diversity and Inclusion roles she’s designed strategies and advised executive leaders on how to maximize the strengths of their teams while building inclusive, equitable, and collaborative work cultures.
Monica earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media Communications from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago.
Originally from the Chicagoland area, Monica currently resides in Fayetteville, North Carolina with her partner and their two mini-poodles. Outside of work, Monica serves as Co-Chair of a neighborhood advocacy group, enjoys attending live sporting events and exploring the local food trucks.
