At NPAG, Stephanie is a day-to-day contact that shepherds both clients and candidates through the search process. Stephanie’s executive search work keeps organizational development at the forefront, as she listens deeply to understand and root roles within their organizational context. Using a strengths-based framework, she supports clients to identify strong leaders that match both organizational and role-specific needs. Stephanie’s work at NPAG spans many sectors and missions, with an emphasis on youth development, reproductive justice, and philanthropy.
Stephanie’s interest in executive search work stems from her passion for supporting nonprofit leaders, a
through line throughout her career. Most recently, Stephanie was the Chief of Staff at Friends of the
Children – Boston, where she partnered with Executive Director and leadership team to advance
organizational priorities and oversee all organizational finance, operations, and compliance. Prior to this role, Stephanie was a program officer at The Boston Foundation, where she led a team to design, launch, and manage a new responsive community grant making program informed trust-based philanthropic practices. In this role she also created and delivered leadership support and organizational development programming for the Foundation’s grantees and the broader Greater Boston nonprofit sector. Stephanie was an early student of nonprofit leadership, working within philanthropic support organizations where she managed network-building events, consulting engagements, communications efforts, and programming to strengthen philanthropic leaders and practice.
Stephanie holds a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and undergraduate degrees in communications and child development from the University of Texas at Austin. Stephanie lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her spouse and keeps many creative hobbies (letterpress printing, interior design, and ice cream making to name a few). Having faced food insecurity early in her life, nothing brings Stephanie more joy as an adult than cooking for others and you can often find her hosting friends and family for big meals.
