Principal
NPAG is proud to announce Callie Carroll’s promotion to Principal in recognition of her leadership in the firm’s growing practice centered on advancing racial and social justice, evidence-based programs serving youth and families, legal advocacy and civil rights, and philanthropy. Callie brings a deep commitment to exceptional client service and a steadfast orientation toward continuous learning and reflection around both her practice and her clients’ missions. Her ability to craft search strategy that aligns with our clients’ values and mission, and engage networks meaningfully around it, distinguishes her not only on our team but in our sector. The NPAG team celebrates her elevation to Principal in recognition of these contributions.
“Callie’s commitment to building authentic relationships and advancing social justice through the particular lens and mechanisms of search reflects the impact that NPAG will continue to catalyze across our field. Her work is rooted in the values and missions of our clients – justice, inclusion, transparency, and access to the power and resources – and represents the best of how we staff the social movements necessary for lasting change,” says Allison Kupfer Poteet, Managing Partner.
Callie’s work is grounded in a deep passion for working towards a more just and equitable society and is reinforced by her business perspective and foundational knowledge of nonprofit operations and strategy. Prior to joining NPAG in 2013, Callie served in organizational leadership as Director of Operations for DC Public Education Fund, where she stewarded internal performance management and operational systems to support over $75M of investments in education reform initiatives aimed at accelerating student achievement. She previously served as an Education Pioneers Fellow at GreatSchools, a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources and tools to parents to be effective stewards of their children’s education, and as Manager of Annual Giving at Project H.O.M.E., a Philadelphia organization committed to ending homelessness.
Callie holds a Master of Business Administration from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Haverford College. She lives with her family in Washington, DC.
