Ebony Breaux-Liang

Ebony comes to NPAG with over a decade of experience in education, nonprofit work, recruitment, and executive search. She began her career as a Teach for America Corps Member in the San Francisco Bay Area, and later supported students through the college application process as a college advisor and Director of College Counseling.

Ebony got her start in executive search at Isaacson, Miller, where she focused on recruiting leaders for senior positions in higher education and the arts and culture sectors. She continued her recruiting work at Lakeshore Learning Materials, where she helped fill roles across various functions, including sales, learning and development, communications, human resources, and technology. Most recently, she was a consultant with Axis Talent Partners, a boutique executive search firm dedicated to supporting social impact organizations.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Ebony is an avid fitness enthusiast and a dedicated instructor at Pure Barre, where she inspires others to embrace a healthy lifestyle through movement and community.

Ebony earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine, and her Master’s degree in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Residing in Los Angeles, she combines a commitment to personal well-being with a mission to empower individuals in their educational and professional journeys.
